At Sanskar Canada, we want to create opportunities for children and youth to develop connections with adults and seniors in the community. We want to promote languages, art, culture, spiritual teachings and practices that support wellbeing and celebrate the days of significance with a deeper understanding.

Anu Thareja

Anu plays a key role in organizing refreshments for the seniors, ensuring that everyone has access to both activities and snacks. Her kindness and attentiveness make her a beloved presence, as she always goes the extra mile to make the seniors feel comfortable and cared for.

Arti Raj

Arti teaches dance and music to kids, bringing an extra dose of joy and energy to every activity. With her qualifications and dedication, she ensures that the kids’ programs run smoothly, fostering creativity and a love for the arts in every child she works with.

 

Asmita Yeola

Asmita creates flyers as needed and consistently offers her valuable time to meet deadlines. As one of the most dedicated parents at Sanskar, she plays a key role in refining programs and messaging to ensure they resonate with the audience. Her commitment and attention to detail are a constant source of inspiration.

Bhupender Sharma

Bhupender Sharma is a highly qualified and dedicated Sanskrit teacher who connects with Sanskar online every Saturday. Through his teachings, he spreads a deep love for Sanskrit, inspiring others to embrace and benefit from this ancient language. His passion and commitment to preserving and sharing Sanskrit are truly inspiring.

Dr. Shanti is deeply passionate about Ayurveda and advocates for a preventive lifestyle to support her clients’ well-being. She is committed to educating her clients on holistic health practices, empowering them to take charge of their health and live balanced, vibrant lives.

Henry Raj is passionate about visual arts and media, dedicating countless hours to update and maintain our digital presence. His commitment ensures that all content is fresh, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s vision, helping to bring creativity and professionalism to every project.

Mani Bhandari

Mani is an AI professional and a driving force behind planning project-based learning for both seniors and kids at Sanskar. Despite her busy schedule, she dedicates time to support the groundwork for program improvement, always striving to enhance the learning experience and ensure the success of each initiative.

Manisha is a passionate artist and a dedicated volunteer at Sanskar, where she has spent her time and skills to create crafts with kids. Despite juggling numerous projects, she makes time every special celebration to teach kids, sharing her love for art and creativity with them. Her unwavering commitment to both her craft and her students is truly inspiring.

Om Grover

Om Grover has a true passion for woodworking, dedicating his valuable time to crafting custom projects, organizers, and installing wooden structures that create efficient storage solutions. His skill and craftsmanship help enhance spaces for Sanskar programs, making them both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Pooja Sharma

Pooja Sharma is a dedicated and experienced volunteer who has invested countless hours at YMCA and Halton schools to build meaningful connections with children. With a deep passion for sharing cultural heritage, she takes the lead in organizing Summer and March break camps and activities for Sanskar’s kids. Her commitment and enthusiasm make her an invaluable part of the team, as she creates enriching experiences that inspire and teach the next generation.

Priya Shukla

Priya has a deep passion for working with young children and connects with the kids at Sanskar every Tuesday to teach Shloka and Hanuman Chalisa. She dedicates her time and energy to passing on the rich Vedic traditions, helping instill a sense of cultural and spiritual heritage in the next generation. Her commitment to nurturing these values in the children is truly inspiring.

Sukhjit is a passionate Mandala artist and a dedicated volunteer at Sanskar, where she has a remarkable connection with her students. Despite having a full plate with numerous projects and orders, she makes the time every Sunday to travel from Mississauga to teach kids, sharing her love for art and creativity with them. Her commitment to both her craft and her students is truly inspiring.

Uma Bhalla

Our esteemed yoga teacher, a trained Patanjali Yoga instructor, leads yoga sessions for our seniors every month. She makes the time to make a meaningful impact, sharing her passion for asanas, pranayam and promoting the importance of maintaining good health.
