At Sanskar Canada Mandir, we host Sunderkand twice a week on Tuesdays 5.00pm and Saturday 11.30am, led with devotion and grace. These gatherings are not just recitations—they are spiritual journeys, inviting each participant to reconnect with their inner strength, deepen their faith, and experience the divine presence of Lord Hanuman.

We warmly invite you and your loved ones to join us for this uplifting and transformative experience. Let us come together in faith, unity, and devotion—and celebrate the timeless wisdom and grace of Sunderkand.

Father’s Day Celebration at Sanskar Canada: A Tribute to Fathers and Family Values

Father’s Day at Sanskar Canada was a truly heartwarming celebration filled with love, gratitude, and meaningful learning. The children expressed their affection by creating beautiful handmade cards with heartfelt messages and colorful canvas paintings for their fathers. It was wonderful to see fathers proudly participating alongside their sons and daughters, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

One of the most touching moments of the event was the children’s presentation of the Hanuman Chalisa through song, dance, and expressive actions. Every verse was beautifully portrayed with emotions and gestures, bringing the sacred words to life. The performance was both mesmerizing and deeply moving, leaving many parents emotional and inspired.

Sanskar Canada has given our children a priceless gift by teaching them Sanatan values, respect for parents, gratitude, devotion, and cultural roots. These  lessons are immeasurable and will remain with them throughout their lives. As a parent, I am sincerely grateful to Sanskar Canada for nurturing these timeless values and helping shape our children into compassionate and culturally grounded individuals. Thank you for making this Father’s Day so special and memorable.

International Yoga day

Yoga: A way of life in the context of International Yoga day

Yoga is more than just a form of exercise; it is a way of life and a path to healthy well-being. International Yoga Day celebrates this ancient practice, which offers a lot of benefits for both the mind and body. To encourage this, International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21 every year, when people all over the world perform yoga exercises.

Yoga teaches us to remain calm, focused, and mindful. These are all qualities that are very important in our daily lives. It improves flexibility, strength, and our physical health. Regular yoga practice can reduce stress, boost happiness, and promote well-being. It also encourages healthy habits, such as balanced eating and proper sleep. Additionally, yoga helps build a sense of community because many people enjoy practicing yoga together. Most importantly, it teaches us kindness, patience, and self-awareness.

By making yoga a part of our daily routine, we can lead healthier, more balanced, and positive lives. I believe yoga truly has a powerful impact on everyone.

Senior's Meet

Senior’s Picnic

The day began with a leisurely walk through the park, where participants enjoyed the fresh air, lush greenery, and a peaceful stroll to the beautiful Bronte Creek water stream. Many seniors took time to appreciate the natural surroundings, share stories, and reconnect with friends while enjoying the tranquil beauty of the flowing water.

A delicious lunch and refreshments were shared among the group, creating an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness. The picnic also featured a variety of fun-filled activities and games designed to encourage participation, laughter, and friendly competition. From team games and brain teasers to light recreational activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for seniors to socialize, build new friendships, and strengthen existing connections within the community.

Sanskar Setu regularly organizes programs that encourage physical wellness, mental stimulation, cultural engagement, and social connection. Events such as this picnic help foster a strong sense of belonging and community among participants.

Adhik Maas

Adhik Maas Concludes with Devotional Yagya and Community Gathering

The sacred month of Adhik Maas, a time dedicated to prayer, reflection, charity, and spiritual growth, concluded with a beautiful community celebration organized by Sanskar Canada.

The final day observance was led by a local priest who guided participants through traditional Vedic rituals and prayers. A Yagya (Havan) was conducted with devotion and reverence, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for all in attendance.

More than 30 community members gathered to participate in the ceremony, offering ahutis into the sacred fire while chanting Vedic mantras and prayers. The event provided an opportunity for devotees to express gratitude for the blessings received during Adhik Maas and to seek divine guidance for the months ahead.
